Kimberly Kraft, PT, DPT, CHT

Kim Kraft is an experienced Certified Hand Therapist whose enthusiasm for collaboration and education drives her service in hand therapy communities. While serving as ASHT Education Division Director, Kim was the recipient of a President’s Award in 2017 and Gold Award in 2018. As the 2020 recipient of the AAHS Vargas Award, she will travel to Ghana to continue the hand therapy tradition in Kumasi. Previously Assistant Professor at the University of Indianapolis, she continues to mentor novice therapists through both the ASHT Mentoring program and the UE Institute online course. Kim holds a Master’s in Physical Therapy and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Emory University. She has practiced in a variety of clinical settings in New Jersey, Indiana, and is currently a full-time clinician at Oregon Health and Sciences University In Portland Oregon. Outside of professional activities, Kim enjoys stand up paddle boarding and hiking while exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest with her family.
