Melanie Benchic, OTD, OTR/L

Melanie Benchic, OTD, OTR/L is an occupational therapist at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute. Her educational background includes a Doctorate of Occupational Therapy from Belmont University and a BS in Health Sciences from The Ohio State University. After working in an inpatient rehabilitation facility, Melanie shifted gears and took a position to help develop the outpatient occupational therapy program at The James. Her passions involve working with cancer survivors who experience chemotherapy induced peripheral neuropathy, upper extremity dysfunction related to cancer/cancer treatment, cognitive dysfunction, and fatigue.
